Paste on this computer.

Scan the code with Orviah on your iPhone. From then on, copy anything there, tap, and it's here, ready to paste. Photos and files too.

  1. Open Orviah on your iPhone and tap Paste at the top of Home (or Settings → Paste to a computer), then Scan the code.
  2. Point it at the code and tap Connect. The same four letters show on both screens.
  3. Copy something on the phone and tap Send what's on the clipboard, or send a photo or a file. Set up the Shortcut once, below, and the Action Button or a tap on the back does it without opening Orviah.

Sealed between your phone and this page: the key is agreed between the two, and Orviah's server relays data it cannot read; what you send can be collected for fifteen minutes. Disconnect and this page forgets it all. How Paste handles your data.

Getting a code…

Copy, press, paste: the Action Button

iOS lets an app read the clipboard only while it is on screen, so the button must run a Shortcut, not Orviah itself: Apple's own Get Clipboard reads the clipboard and hands it to Orviah's Send to computer, which works in the background. Nothing opens, and after the first time nothing asks.

Build it once

  1. In Orviah, open Paste to a computer → Send with a tap on the back, or the Action Button → Open Shortcuts to build it. A new, empty shortcut opens.
  2. Tap Add Action, search Get Clipboard, tap it.
  3. Search Send to computer (under Orviah), tap it. It reads Send Clipboard to the computer by itself.
  4. Name it Send clipboard, then Done.

Put it on the button

  1. Settings → Action Button → swipe to Shortcut → Choose a Shortcut… → pick Send clipboard. Pick the shortcut you built, not an Orviah entry under Apps.
  2. No Action Button? Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap → Send clipboard.
  3. The first run asks "Allow 'Send clipboard' to paste?" Choose Allow. To stop it asking: Settings → Apps → Shortcuts → Paste from Other Apps → Allow.

Copy anywhere, press, and Shortcuts says "Sent to your computer". From the share sheet it works too: Share → Orviah → Send to this computer (named by its browser, such as “Safari on a Mac”) puts a photo, a PDF or a page itself here, with Download. After updating Orviah, scan the code once more.
